Baptism

Baptism is the Sacrament of salvation and new birth in Christ (John 3:3-5). Through Baptism, we are graced with the Holy Spirit, who moves us to answer Christ’s call to holiness. This sacrament invites us to walk by the light of Christ, trust in His wisdom, and submit our hearts to Him with deeper love and commitment. It is the foundational sacrament that welcomes us into the Christian community, marking the beginning of our spiritual journey in faith.
In Baptism, the individual, whether an infant or an adult, is cleansed of original sin and reborn as a child of God. This sacred rite involves the use of water, symbolizing purification and new life, and the Trinitarian formula, invoking the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The sacrament is a profound expression of God’s grace and our acceptance into the Church, the Body of Christ.
We warmly welcome you and your child to this beautiful sacrament. Our parish community is here to support and integrate you into our spiritual family. Prior to the baptism, you will engage with parish members to prepare for this significant milestone, ensuring you fully understand its importance and meaning.
We invite you to take the first step in this sacred journey. Please contact the Parish Office at 414-453-5344 to express your interest in the Sacrament of Baptism. We look forward to walking with you and your family on this path of faith and new life in Christ.
